Online registration for the 2023 Boys Spring and Girls Spring Season is now open. In past years we have offered a Girls Summer Season and included registration options during this sign-up process. Given the limited interest last year, we will offer a Girls Summer season sign-up in the Spring should there be enough interest.
Teams will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis and a waiting list will be started once we reach our roster limits. We will do our best to field multiple teams for the level if that happens. In the event that a waiting list is started, we will roster in order of your registration date and we will do our best to accommodate everyone, but a roster spot is not guaranteed.
2023 is a new uniform season. This year we will be purchasing uniforms using Arete Sport. In the "Uniform Information" section of registration, you will find the link to the uniform ordering site. You will link out to the Arete site and then type in your order confirmation number in order to continue registration. You will be required to order a pinnie and shorts (boys) / skirt (girls). You can order extra of either, if desired. There are optional shooter shirts available as well.
In the event that we offer multiple teams at the 12U and 14U level, the OYL Board will field teams at the A and B levels. Once registration closes we will determine the number of teams we will have at each level. If we have 2 teams we will communicate what the tryout process will be. All players who wish to play on an A team will be required to participate in a formal tryout. In an effort to balance B team roster sizes or skill levels, the OYL Board reserves the right to move a few players, as needed. If you have questions about this policy, please contact president@oronolax.org.
Any player who wishes to play up at a different level than their designated age group as defined by USA Lacrosse, please email president@oronolax.org.
Player counts at each level and a formal evaluation process for the player will determine if the move up will be granted.
If you are having trouble with the registration process please email president@oronolax.org, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
